Original research on hiring demand, cut from public job postings. Every study states what it counted, publishes the rows underneath it, and is dated to the edition it was printed in.

Each study publishes on a fixed monthly slot — the first Tuesday of the month — and is not edited between slots. A new edition supersedes the previous one; the previous one stays readable at its own address. Next edition: August 4, 2026.

About Reqbeat Labs

Reqbeat Labs is the research desk of Reqbeat, published from the same live hiring-signal corpus the API serves — not a survey, and not a panel.
Every study states what it counted before it states a number, and publishes the rows it was counted from under CC BY 4.0. Quote it, chart it, re-cut it.
A derived figure publishes only once 2 named reviewers have signed off on its definition; until then the study prints the withholding and the reason, in the place the number would have been.

How these are published

No figure is published under a metric definition that was not pre-registered and dated before the figure was computed.
Every revision that publishes a figure carries at least 2 named reviewers, recorded in the changelog on this page.
At most one flagship report per month. A cadence we cannot review properly is a cadence that eventually ships a number we cannot defend.
We kill a report rather than publish an indefensible number, including after the work is done.
Revisions are additive. A published figure is never silently edited — it is superseded by a new version, and the prior vintage stays readable.
