Hiring-intent data
Hiring-intent data is structured information about which companies are hiring, for which roles, where, and when — derived from public job postings rather than surveys or self-reported firmographics. Unlike generic intent data inferred from web behaviour, it is grounded in an action a company actually took: it opened a requisition.
Traditional intent data scores an account on signals that are correlated with buying — content consumption, review-site visits, ad engagement — and hopes the correlation holds. Hiring-intent data skips the correlation: an open req for a Salesforce administrator is not a proxy for a company investing in Salesforce, it is the investment, stated in the company's own words.
Because the raw material is a public posting, hiring-intent data is structured the way the buyer needs it — one row per company, role, location and date — instead of arriving as an opaque account-level score. That structure is what lets it drive a play: filter to the roles that map to your product, and each surviving row is a named account with a stated, current need.
